Here is the schedule:
- Friday 7pm: Meet and greet at Gordon Biersch Brewery in Buckhead
- Saturday 10am-5:30pm: lectures and discussions and an opportunity to socialize with other Objectivists (Location: Fullers Recreation Center in Marietta)
- Saturday at 8pm: Party!!(at Michael and Jessica Stone's home)
- Sunday 10am-12pm: a few more lectures or discussions (Also at the Stone's home)
- Sunday at 1 pm: a 4th of July BBQ and pool party (at Jenn Casey's neighborhood pool in Acworth)
- Monday from 11-1: Shooting at Nick's Guns and Range in Marietta (local gun owners will be glad to let you use their guns and will teach any newbies who want to learn)
The lectures and discussions will be led by members of our group who want to share things they know with others. So far, we have at least one session on rational parenting, a talk about the Founding Fathers, a paleo cooking demonstration and tasting, a guided Crossfit workout, a round table discussion on blogging, a poetry appreciation talk, and a talk and discussion about intellectual property. More sessions and more details about the sessions listed above will be added later.
The costs for the weekend will be minimal, just what it takes for the AOS to cover our costs.
