Aaron Bilger
While not working in the field, Aaron has a longtime passionate interest in science including modern physics and how this can fit with a rational worldview. Since becoming an Objectivist, IP has also held a serious interest, magnified when filing and fighting patents in his engineering career.
Martin Cade
Martin Cade graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1988 with an Aerospace Engineering degre. While there, he tried many intramural sports, as well as running up to 5 miles daily. In his senior year at Annapolis he started bodybuilding-style workouts and gained 18lb in less than a year. Since discovering CrossFit on Amit Ghate's blog (Thrutch) in 2007, Martin has focused learning about the CrossFit program and applying it to his own workouts. He currently works as a software engineer at a large telecommunications service provider. In his spare time he plays guitar, works on remodeling his house, and works out in his home gym.
Jenn Casey
Jenn Casey is a homeschooling mommy of three children (ages 8, 5, and 2). She and her husband, Brendan, live in Acworth, northwest of Atlanta. Jenn writes regularly about her awesome kids, parenting, positive (non-punitive) discipline, Objectivism, homeschooling, and food allergies on her blog Rational Jenn. She also co-authors a blog and podcast with Kelly Elmore called Cultivating the Virtues. Jenn recently became a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and is pursuing full certification from the Positive Discipline Association. Jenn has been an Objectivist for about 20 years, and has been involved in various Objectivist groups in real life and online for many years. Currently, she manages the Objectivist Round Up, a weekly blog carnival featuring Objectivist bloggers, an email discussion list for those interested in applying Objectivism to parenting (OGrownups), and has been working for much of 2010 to launch the new Atlanta Objectivist Society!
John Cox
A self admitted political junkie, John Cox has studied Objectivism and the Objectivist view of government for over a decade. Currently, he writes on two blogs, Sacred Ego, dealing with Objectivism and Politics, and John and Ansley, a blog on the family life of the Cox Household.
Jason Dixon
Jason Dixon began studying Objectivism eight years ago and describes it as the key that opened a door to unlimited possibility in life. It had a direct impact on his deciding to return to school and pursue his dream of writing about and teaching literature at the university level. He is currently a Junior and happily researching graduate schools.
Kelly Elmore
Kelly Elmore is a homeschooling mom to a 6 year old girl, a graduate student in English literature at Georgia State University, and an instructor at Kennesaw State University, where she teaches gymnastics methods in the education department. She loves to read Jane Austen novels and Tennyson poetry and work on her positive discipline podcasts with her partner, Jenn Casey. She blogs at Reepicheep’s Coracle.
Shea Levy
Shea Levy is a college student studying biomedical engineering and neuroscience at the University of Rochester. He is also enrolled in the Objectivist Academic Center. His interests range from technology to epistemology to parenting and more, and he pursues them all with a passion. He has been studying Objectivism since 2005, when he was given a copy of Atlas Shrugged by a fellow student. His future plans involve revolutionizing the medical device industry starting a company focused on using biomedical technology to enhance the lives of the healthy, rather than on healing the sick.
Keith Robertson
Keith Robertson is a computer programmer with a Master's Degree in Computer Science with a long-time interest in the physical sciences. He lives in Roswell, GA with his wife and 3 year old son, Ender.
Jessica Stone
Jessica Stone has been a passionate eater and cooker all her life. Her first job at the age of 16 was in the kitchen of a 4-star restaurant, and she has been honing her culinary skills ever since. She tends to remember the places she's traveled by the foods she eats there, and many of her fondest memories include cooking or eating with someone she loves. Her approach to food and flavor is sensual and hearty and her prime motive for the food she creates is that it be both delicious and nourishing. She has been following an Evolutionary approach to diet since December of 2007, and has been delighted with the new flavors, challenges and results of this huge lifestyle change.
